A Barren Land

The ground is cracked out of dryness… lifeless and barren. The scorching heat of the sun burns my skin… and as the days goes by, this barren land grows wider and wider…

 It hasn't always been like this before…  I remember, like it was just yesterday, great beauty have once flourished here… the land was covered with greeneries and the air was fresh and full of life… Joy and laughter was everywhere…

But alas! I have allowed time and circumstances control my actions. Instead of taking care of the beauty before me, I looked elsewhere, thinking it would be fine and this beauty shall last forever. I was wrong!

Now all l see is a barren land…  I looked at the emptiness before me… stared at for far too long that I lost track of time… As I stared, I  wondered if I could ever bring life to it once more… bring it back to how it was…

I started to do something… but alas the barren wasteland keeps getting bigger and bigger… all my attempts seemed futile…

 But then again, a spark of hope have ignited… perhaps it is not as barren and lifeless as it  seemed, for when night falls, under the light of the moon, I saw figures wandering across the dunes. Perhaps, there is still hope. Perhaps there is life still beyond the horizon. 

Perhaps if could till this soil hard enough, life would return into this barren land once again…

Indeed it would, perhaps..

No Escape From My Dreams

Recently I decided to ignore the dreams that I have been having. Though I know those dreams has been trying to tell me something and I thought I knew what they meant. However, the reality would seem to be going completely opposite to those dreams.

Another Dream

Why do I still keep dreaming of her?  

Though, an angel already had touched my heart and though we met only a few months ago, she has played a major part in my life, she has brought joy back into my life.

Places We’ve Been (II)

Roxas City's Beach stretches for about 3 Km. As I mentioned in my previous post, we used to go to the beach so often, each time on different parts of the beach,

 This is where we had our very first date, right on that table. I looked on that pair of empty chairs, I recalled that day, was it February 16, 2005? (consider it a post valentine date).

The Places We’ve Been… I

Finally I was able to borrow my brother's digital cam. I have been planning to go through the places that we've been to and the scenic routes we took while we were together. We both love the beach so much. Though we never had a chance to swim together, we always went to the beach, find an uncrowded space, enjoying each other company while enjoying the cool salty breeze. Often times we would watch the sunset together. Enjoying the silence.

Sometimes, we would just walk along the shore until it gets dark while talking to each other.

Taken two years ago… we always spent sometime together after office hours on the beach.

Now after a year the beach have changed greatly. The outgoing mayor constructed a bay walk on one part of the beach.

And now, I have no one to company me spend  sometime on this wonderful beach.
