Sumthing to think about…

A married woman once told a group of her friends: When my husband looks at me, I am so much greater and richer than when I look at myself. I sense so much more potential in me. Her husband added: When I experience my wife's loving gaze, I feel a sense of inner growth which seems to be lacking if I just look at myself in the mirror. We experience this in Jesus' birth. God looks at us through human eyes for the first time, and in that gaze we begin to know our value and preciousness. The Incarnation reveals to us our worth in the sight of God. He loves us enough to share this mortal flesh with us. In prayer I think how God is waiting for me, looking at me.

True. It has often been told to see God in others. But often we fail to recognize or feel that God is looking at us, watching over us through the eyes of others..
And like the couple in this story, they both feel God’s loving gaze through each other’s eyes …
Is this not the essence of being Soulmates?

totally agree on how God looks out for us. and in His time, we’ll all find what we’re looking for…some semblance of peace in someone’s arms against this crazy crazy world.
